Who’s the prettiest fashionista of them all? Well according to Popsugar.com, it just might be you. If you follow the fashion trends for the Fall/Winter 2016; you’ll have no problem finding the perfect look. Shopping for new clothes doesn’t necessarily mean, tossing out the vintage in exchange for the new. In fact, the complete opposite is true. Sprucing up your last year’s look, with some 2017 trends, is all you need.

This Winter/ Spring 2017 mixed attire must haves include the following, off the shoulder blouse worn with narrow gathered ankle jeans or tights. Its bohemian inspired style and versatility, makes it a definite must have. You can easily mix and match this look with a bikini bottom, long tapered skirt or maternity wear.

The scarf, is making a major comeback. By updating a vintage style with a silk print scarf, you’ve made a statement without saying a word. This look below, is a prime example, of how a scarf should be utilized. It’s eye catching and draws attention to the fashion assemble. A highly sophisticated and elegant style, indeed.

Here’s a vintage classic assemble, that incorporates the structured look, with a hint of Luxe fur. Visit your local second hand boutiques; and the rack for some name brands at major discounts. The pictured look below, perfectly showcases the old with the new. The open toe slingbacks, business suit and strategically placed fur is complimented by a muted print.

CAUTION: This 1980’s Vanity 6 group inspired look, Nasty Girl, is sparking dialogue and sold out racks. With its simple peek a boo lace and alluring laidback style. You can easily transform this look from the office to the nightclub. By adding a gorgeous black long sleeve top. And black leggings with a sexy pump or stilettos. You’ve just turned heads and breaking necks at the same time. Of course, this look should be worn by women who possess, strong confidence and ability.

All these looks are affordable, achievable and most importantly, must haves for late 2016 and early Spring 2017. They are simple, sophisticated, tastefully sexy and yet personalized with you, in mind.

5 Morning Beauty Hacks for Dry Skin

Girl looking in the mirror and girl stretching

Winter’s going strong. And we all know the cold weather can really do a number on skin, drying out your face and robbing you of your natural glow. Never fear – we can help you beat dull winter skin with a quick morning routine that’ll leave you fresh faced for whatever comes your way that day!

Woman stretching on the floor facing the window

Your morning beauty routine begins even before you hit the bathroom. Start the day with a few good stretches. This helps combat dark circles by increasing your blood flow (plus you’ll feel totally calm and refreshed).

Woman washing her face at her bathroom sink

Next, wash your face. Morning cleansing washes away the night and any leftover makeup you may have missed, leaving you feeling ready to face the day…literally. Use warm to slightly cool water. The hotter the water, the more drying it is to your skin.

Woman exfoliating her face

It’s important to exfoliate in the winter so you can get rid of all that dead, flaky skin. Exfoliating leaves your skin feeling soft and brightens the overall look of your face. Sensitive skin? Find an exfoliating scrub created specifically for your skin type, or only exfoliate once a week. Time-Saving Tip: Exfoliating pads are gentle, fast and easy to use!

Woman spraying her face with a hydrating mist

Now give your skin an added boost by using a hydrating mist on your face. Think of it as a drink of water for your skin. Give an extra spritz at the end of your morning skin routine, too, to ensure your makeup stays put all day long.

Woman putting face cream on in the batroom mirror

Never, ever skip moisturizing your skin – no matter what your skin type. Believe it or not, even oily skin needs moisture. Apply your face cream while your skin is still damp to help seal in the moisture and further combat dryness. Also, look for products that are oil based (rather than water based) to help attract moisture to your skin. Make sure you use a facial cream with SPF because you still need protection in the winter. Time-Saving Tip: Use a tinted moisturizer and you can skip foundation!

You’re now washed, exfoliated and moisturized! Your skin should be glowing and ready for whatever the winter day has in store for you. Proceed with your makeup (Burlington has a ton at great deals!) and you’ll be totally radiant and ready to go. As far back, as I can remember, I have always loved fashion and beauty. My late mother, Margo Elle, was highly instrumental in introducing me to different styles and trends, to achieve a desired look. I would watch her take her 33mm camera and photograph the sunset and sunrise. Or picking up falling leaves from the trees in the park, to compare the array of colors within the leaves. The idea being, to creatively blend colors and patterns in a way to accentuate the beauty of individual style. Much like the article I read in http://www.thezoereport.com; where it celebrates one’s ability to boldly standout through sharp expressive colors and style. ~Hope Elle~

Shop The Seasonal Trend Anyone Can Work Into Her Wardrobe

Whether you gravitate toward cool blues or fiery reds, incorporating one (or more) punchy hue into your look is an easy way to enliven classic silhouettes and timeless staples. Experiment with color blocking via these nine perfect pieces from NET-A-PORTER.

A Bakery of Beauty Awaits

                               January 22, 2017

Hi Sweeties,

We know you are excited to get your hands on our newest product, our Flour® Setting Powder. The Flour® Setting Powder is 100% Vegan* (except the Pink Flour) and will come in 4 shades: Brown, Pink, Translucent and Yellow. There is so much information on the web about setting powders-we figured it would be best to talk about ours specifically, how it will charm its way into your home and makeup bags!

1. As with nearly all of our products, a little goes a long way! You can use a brush to lightly dust your face to set your foundation into place or you can use a beauty sponge to apply the Flour® just beneath your eyes to set your concealer and foundation.

2. It is mattifying! If you have combination or oily skin, the Flour® lends itself to oil control through its oil absorbing technology. Your oily days are over.

3. It was made to have a lightweight feel. This can be attributed to its micro-fine translucent powders.

4. #WhatSmudge Cake Mix Foundation? While it is underway, make no mistake about what the Flour® can do on its own. It can be worn alone for those opting out of makeup for the day but is best atop your foundation-locking in your look while sustaining your skin’s natural moisture.

5. Lastly, there is no flashback. While we love powdered donuts, we expect to enjoy eating them without looking as though we did.

Flour®Setting Powder

Oven Release Date: February 2017

Shades: 4

Cruelty-Free: 100%

Vegan* (except Pink): 100%

We’d love to hear your thoughts! Drop your comments below.

Until next time, Sugars!

Fashionista At The Inauguration

This Is Why You Should Care About Fashion On Inauguration Day

Hillary Clinton

Getty Images

It’s a historic day for the American people. Donald Trump has been sworn in as the 45th president of the United States, and intense speculation preceded the event—about guest appearances, the speech he would deliver and, of course, the ensemble First Lady Melania Trump (as well as former FLOTUS Michelle Obama) would wear. But it was Hillary Clinton’s outfit that made the biggest style statement. Dressed in (you guessed it) a pantsuit, the former Democratic presidential nominee donned the symbolic silhouette in white, a subtle reference to the woman’s suffrage movement. It’s particularly notable on the eve of the Women’s March on Washington, a rally against a new administration that some believe threatens to marginalize women’s rights. Hillary’s cashmere coat and suit were designed by Ralph Lauren, who also dressed Melania in a powder blue skirt suit that resembled former First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy’s sophisticated look at President John F. Kennedy’s inauguration in 1961. As is typical of a moment this pivotal, fashion continues to play a major and symbolic role. ~The Zoe Report~
